Open Position: Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Automation
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Corrugated Packaging / Manufacturing
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical and automation systems to ensure continuous plant operations. The role offers a combination of practical troubleshooting work and collaboration with engineering teams to enhance machine efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a wide range of technical duties, including:

Performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on automation and electrical equipment.

Maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs such as Siemens S7-300/400, Allen-Bradley, and Beckhoff systems.

Diagnosing and repairing drives including Lenze, Master Drive, Baumüller, and Elua, using specialized software tools.

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

Supporting panel design modifications and coordinating with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) when required.

Ensuring minimal downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures and production interruptions.

Working closely with mechanical, production, and automation teams to optimize equipment performance.
This position requires a high level of technical accuracy, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required
